Fitosoil participated in the IV Technical Workshop of AEFA to know more about the impact of the new Reg. EU 2019/1009 regarding Biostimulants
Fitosoil has participated in the IV Technical Conference of AEFA, which took place on May 12th at the Spanish Engineering Institute (Calle del General Arrando, 38) in Madrid.
The topic of the conference was:
"ENTRY INTO APPLICATION OF EU REGULATION 2019/1009: A new step for agricultural biostimulants".
In view of the imminent entry into application of the European Fertiliser Regulation on 16 July, we are fully aware of the problems and uncertainties faced by manufacturers of fertilisers and biostimulants who wish to place their products on the market in accordance with the new European marking. With this conference, the AEFA intended to shed light on some of these doubts, inform about the latest legislative developments and provide attendees with a place where they can share their impressions on this matter with colleagues and specialists in the sector.
This day dealt with topics such as:
- The presentation on the "EU REGULATION 2019/1009" given by Bibiana Rodríguez Sendón, Deputy Assistant Director, SG Means of Agricultural Production and Spanish Office of Plant Varieties of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA).
- "NEW EUROPEAN FERTILISER REGULATION: Priorities for EBIC" (European Biostimulant Industry Council). EBIC National Liaisons: Irene Sobrado (Regulatory Affairs EU Manager, Tradecorp) and Estefanía Hinarejos (Global Regulatory Director, AlgaEnergy).
- "STANDARDISATION IN THE NEW FERTILISER REGULATION", presentation of the UNE Labelling Standard of the European Regulation commented by Yago Delgado de Robles, Secretary of CTN-142 and Technical Director of ANFFE.
- European Standards for Biostimulants in support of the European Regulation. Rosa Cepas Aguayo. Secretary of CTN 142/GT3 and responsible for the agri-food sector in UNE (Spanish Association for Standardisation).
- "EVALUATION OF THE CONFORMITY OF BIOSTIMULANTS, STAKEHOLDERS INVOLVED", given by Juan José Vicente Montero, Head of the CAAE Inputs Area, Pedro Palazón, CEO/Technical Director Ideagro, Sara Tormo and Ángela Varo, Regulatory Affairs of Tradecorp.
- "PRESENT AND FUTURE OF BIOSTIMULANTS" by Francisco Miguel, Managing Partner of Unomásdos.
